These are pictures of my little two place amphibian. It's a standard plans built Osprey2.
I worked off and on from 1978 to the first flight on 9/15/06. Construction is wood (doug. fir and Sitka spruce) with
some composite elements. Wt. is 1000 pounds, climb rate 1000 fpm, cruise speed 130 mph, stall speed 55 mph but prudent
landing speed is 60 to 70 mph. Features turbulator tape on tail and wings; that reduced stall speed 5 mph. Stressed
to plus and minus 4.5 G's. Range is 400 miles. It is agile on water and can take off out of a fast turn. Engine -
Lyc. O-320 BCB 160 hp.
